This special Field Notes edition is a collaboration with illustrator Jay Ryan, whose ink illustrations of a bear named Haxley and his adventures with his squirrel neighbors grace the covers and inside pages. One of these memo books is a storybook, with ruled pages interspersed with illustrations, and the other is a blank sketchbook where you can create illustrations of your own.
