Platinum Pro Use 171 Silver Mechanical Pencil | 0.3mm

Platinum’s Pro Use 171 Drafting Pencil is a handsome mechanical pencil that allows you to fine-tune the details according to your project and preferences. It has an adjustable lead sleeve that can be extended out to 4.5mm or fully retracted by twisting the pencil’s nose cone. The pencil tip also contains a spring mechanism that helps prevent the lead from breaking, especially useful with this pencil’s extra-fine 0.3mm lead. The spring mechanism cushions the lead, letting it slide back into the pencil slightly when it’s under too much pressure. This feature can be turned on and off by twisting the grip section of the pencil.

The Pro Use 171 pencil features a lead grade indicator so you always remember what type of lead you have loaded in your pencil. The body of the pencil is made of resin, with a knurled metal grip and a metal clip and nose cone.
